As our name suggests we don't really sell any oak pieces but this beauty was just too good to leave behind.
c1850 oak English coffer in really good, solid condition. Has been lightly waxed and polished.
Please note square piece missing from the lid, we are sure there is a fantastic story to this but we unfortunately don't know it! It may well have been made from an old structual piece of oak back in the day that had that piece missing, either way we love it!

90% plus of our restored pine furniture stock is old (c1840 -1910) and will have interesting tales to tell!
There may be the odd sign of its long life here or there but these will not detract from the overall look or function of the piece and only serve to add to its charm and appeal.
